These turnings were made initially as Christmas ornaments and are turned hollow where possible to reduce the weight on the tree branches. They are interesting at any time of year and for any occasion. They would make one of a kind gift for any special occasion. Parts for these ornaments are made from exotic woods I've had for many years, off cuts of maple walnut and other woods, found antlers, and even turned fir bark. I've never made two the same to date hence my claim that they are "one of a kind".
